About Us
What's Jhappening?
Jhappening is a social networking site based on events in the Jewish world.
What type of events can be found in Jhappening?
Anything and everything (well, almost…).
What is unique about it?
2 things:
-
1. Jhappening is a one-stop platform where you can find all the Jewish events out there, whether published by private users (that's you!) or organizations, wherever you are. Sure, there are plenty event calendars out there, but there isn't 1 major website that packs it all under one roof.
-
2. It connects people not only in the virtual world but also in the real world, where we seek to interact in activities / events with those who share our interests.
What's better than going to a party / lecture / Torah class / or any other event you're passionate about?
Going with your friends.
How are events and online interaction intertwined?
The great thing is that the action does not begin and end with the actual event. Before the event, you can see who's coming. After the dust settles, you can watch/post videos and photos from the event and / or just talk about it in the event's forum.
